It is important to highlight that the two main ingredients of this recipe will be the turkey (preferably from local sourcing) and the french delicatessen, the Hénaff Pork Pâté.

The Hénaff Pork Pâté is an emblematic french pâté created in 1915, since the recipe hasn’t changed only its packaging.

  • The recipe follows a short list ingredients; premium pieces of pork including hams, tenderloins…, spices, salt.
  • The Hénaff Pork Pâté is also a committed products; local sourcing (pork come from less than 150 kilometres/93 miles), organic pepper from a cooperative in Sao Tomé, cans are produced in few kilometres, etc.

Ingredients| French cuisine for Thanksgiving

To cook tasty recipe, it is important to choose tasty and healthy ingredients.

Here the list of ingredients for a french cuisine fro Thanksgiving:

  • 1 turkey 
  • 100 g of mushrooms
  • 2 white onions
  • 1 can of Hénaff Pork Pate
  • 50g of melted butter
  • 50 cl of chicken broth
  • Sal, pepper

Cooking steps | French cuisine for Thanksgiving

  1. Sprinkle the turkey with salt and pepper
  2. Peel and slice the button mushrooms, onions and shallots
  3. Crush roughly the Hénaff Pork Pate and add it to the mushrooms, onions and shallots to obtain a filling. Then, put this filling in the turkey.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180° C / 350° F°
  5. Put the turkey on an baking dish and baste it with the melted butter. Then, let the turkey cook during 1 hour 15 minutes. Don’t forget to baste the turkey with the chicken broth.
  6. Cut the turkey and slice the filling.

Our tips for gourmets: add some grapes, sweet chestnuts and cognac.
